A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ron Holland has been practicing at Akers Pharmacy since 1969. Ron is a devout Tar Heel fan and enjoys watching ACC games along with his family, including two granddaughters and two grandsons. He enjoys spending his spare time in the pottery studio making handmade pottery with his wife Amy. |

Sara has been part of the Akers family for many years and is excited to rejoin the team as a pharmacist. She enjoys teaching her patients about their medications and giving them the confidence to take charge of their own healthcare. Sara most loves spending time with her family, including her husband and son. |

Glenda graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. Upon graduation, she worked in retail and joined the Akers Pharmacy staff in 1992. She lives in Gastonia with her husband, David. She has two children, Andrew, who resides in Southern Pines, NC with his wife Laura, both pharmacists, and Alexandra who is pursuing a dual masters degree. |

David is a 1992 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with majors in chemistry and history and, in 1997, received his BS in Pharmacy. Among his many interests are working in the yard, tending to his koi and spending time with his wife and daughters. |

Truman has been with Akers Pharmacy since moving to Gastonia in 1960. He is a favorite of Akers Pharmacy customers because of his knowledge, years of experience and his approachability. He is actively involved n the community and has been recognized by the Heart Society for his contributions to the organization. Truman spends his free time golfing and hunting. He is most proud of his three daughters and grandchildren. |
